Office furniture for a non profit organization.?
We have the tax exempt forms and we are not looking for handouts just discounts of any kind. We are expanding due to the services needed by families in AZ. Any suggestions or advice on somewhere to go would be great. Ikea of Tempe I have tried and will never go back, due to the customer service I have received the past few days. The company I work for will help anyone and we are proud of what we do! Provideing support and assistance to families with behaviorally challenged children.
Have you tried discussing this with Office Depot or Office Max to see if they would give you a discount since you are a non-profit? All they can do is say no. Check at thrift shops or places like Salvation Army stores.

Most retail stores accept tax exempt cards…Most retail stores ..If you call the mangement of that store and explain youre organization chances are they will deal" or take to a "comittee" for election..as they may have others ahead of you. You can also find "great deals while supportting another organization "habitat for humanity" stores.. and even suplus stores..Goodluck

If you receive federal funding, you can go to The General Services Administration and get everythng you need cheap. Also, I would check with all of the thrift stores until you find one that has what you need and are willing to give you a discount. Target store managers have the authorty to make donations of up to $50,000 for local charites. You might want to consider writing a proposal and getting a grant just for furniture and furnishings. Here's a link for grant sources that you might find useful http://www.intergate.com/~rclowney/g739.htm for more help, go to the Foundation Center and search through their database http://fdncenter.org/
Good Luck!
